@iammistahwolf When I first started working on this mod I had limited experience with modding and modeling and I was overly ambitious in what I wanted it to become, but now that I've had time to practice and learn I feel like I can refine this mod to at least be somewhat useful for everyone. I'll try to clean it up a little so it can be used as a base for people to decorate and do as they please. The reason that things disappear is because of something called "Occlusion Culling" -which hides things that the game thinks the player isn't looking at- and I've tried figuring out how to tell the game that the interior actually exists but nothing I've tried has worked. The Ambient occlusion you see on the floors and walls is caused by the walls and floors to not be one continuous surface with themselves because I didn't know at the time how to merge vertices in 3DS Max. It's nice to see that people are still interested in my creations and i'm looking forward to continuing my work.
@IndigoChild It's possible that an update to GTA V has broken this mod and my others. I'll look into fixing it sometime soon.
@Zio Ark I've been caught up in some other things recently, and don't have the time to work on modding. But I do plan to continue working on this soon!
@PixelPlays Oh yeah I know what you're talking about now, and idk really how to fix it. I can't even explain what exactly causes it either. I think it's something to do with "portals" in .ytyp files but not much is known about how to use/edit them. I've been trying to understand them and how to make ACTUAL interiors that are separate from the exterior of buildings myself so that I can make more complex interiors with stuff like working mirror floors.
@PixelPlays Do you mean you are having rendering issues like you can't really see through them, or they are just too small? Because i'm going to be making the windows bigger.
What do you all want me to do more? Finish this mod and keep making custom building interiors, or keep importing maps from other games?
@DR4WING Wow those are some cool pics! I'm thinking about adding more showrooms like the Pfister Design building that's close to Michaels house, after I actually finish this mod that is. I've been destracted a bit by learning how to import maps, change materials, etc.
Sorry everyone who's been downloading this as 0.2 I forgot to put 0.3 as the primary file
@Yoha Yep! Thanks! gtamer4567@gmail.com
@Yoha Hey, Derpy-Canadian said that you helped him with the glowing in his map at night "Gostown Paradise V". I've tried looking everywhere for a solution to this but I can't find ANYTHING. Could you maybe help me with this too? Please? Thank you.
