@BadgerOnTheLoose Use openIV to navigate to mods>update>update.rpf>common>data and replace the games gameconfig.xml with the mod's. What initially worked for me and fixed a crash I was having was to find the line
<PoolName>ScaleformStore</PoolName>
<PoolSize value="700"/>
and change the value to 720. I have yet to try out teh moderator's pinned edits, just discovered them now, and will be trying them out.
Really need a map overhaul in my mod compilation, going to try this out. I really wish there were install instructions in the description, though. I often dont even bother with mods if author's dont even bother telling how to install them.
Excellent mod. It allows pretty much zero risk modding and enables multiple builds for mods that are incompatible with each other. 5/5, really wish i woulda seen this mod a long time ago.
@lucasvinbr
Damnit, I almost saved the info when I glanced at teh log. If I recall correctly... and I unfortunately might not be accurate due to my poor memory, there were 3 different errors each titled as a fatal unhandled exception. Each error had a catagory or object and I recall one of them being about gang vehicles, i think, though each object had a long directory. Sadly, I already reverted to my previous mod build, so I cannot give you the exact errors.
@lucasvinbr How strange. Could not get this mod to work on my mod build with roughly 20 different mods, so I reinstalled GTA 5 just to get this mod to work and try it out, still nothing. I have every requirement, Scripthook, script.net, NativeUI, the latest .net framework with Windows 10 and the visual redist. When I get in game, the keys do not do a thing and there is no indication the mod is working.
I somehow managed to get this car handling like a brick, though i installed it exactly as the readme says. It takes forever to brake (for a supercar) and I have to slow way down to manage turns. This would easily be my fav hypercar but the handling makes me want to uninstall. Anyone know if this is normal?
@Ravion Pretty sure that is normal, or rather, intended. The mod author names all his car folders after himself, so you have to overwrite when you install. It's weird, but i think the point is having different car's core files preserved.
@Aiakos
Sry, the copy/paste I did int he previous comment is a little confusing. The mod author of the mod I linked suggested changing that value back to vanilla, which seemed to be what fixed the crash. IDK if it was a typo or if the vanilla value is just more compatible with mods. Again, will have to ask the mod author. And np for posting it
@Lozano71
No trouble.
Did not install due to my download prompting me to DL off a third party site. Just include the DL in the frikkin DL. Moving on to better car modders.
@Saunders420 @Anyone Like many others, I am wondering if the cars spawn in the world or if you have to manually spawn them. Due to this not being stated anywhere, I aint DLing this mod. Wish I could find this info, as the mod would be great if I did not have to spawn them.
Ya, I tried to download and my system security warned me of potential malicious software. Dipsht author is too lazy to copy/paste instructions in description, that alone almost made me not bother with this mod.
