@XENORT Created an account just to say this, but when I download the file there is no installation.txt file and no .oiv file for me to install like there used to be. Is this my end?

The sounds are very cool, but the only thing that bothers me is that the sounds are very loud. Since I make SWAT movies in the game, all the gun sounds are not really balanced after making a rockstar clip compared to the environment sounds of the game. So I usually increase the volume so all environmental sounds are hearable, but than the gun sounds are way too extreme.

Is there a way to lower these sounds to make them more balanced and in line with other game sounds volume?

If you have any problem with can't find gun sound, I also have gun sound file for you, the only thing that RGS is better than the other is the loudness, all of gun sound of this pack have better and balance loudness that show how the real professional author., other gun sound pack mod is very reckless I found that some of gun sound is too loud and some is too less loud it feel pretty bad and very strange,

Here the gun sound file that very great and have same range of loudness, if you still not update your mod, someday I going to add more sound and release update version of RGS because real author is lazy to do.

Here the sound need to update

- All of Mk2 gun that use same sound as Mk1
- tactical rifle, heavy rifle, pistol_mw29, precision rifle, tactical SMG

uh, just so you know, simply because the author is "lazy" (a proven fact I guess?) doesn't mean you can take his work without his explicit permission and edit it. Currently, I haven't given anyone permission to edit RGS (which consists not only of my own work) and reupload it.
Everyone are free to edit the mod to their liking, it would be dumb if I would disallow that and it's also not really possible. But uploading it publicly without permission is prohibited as was stated in the mod's description.

You were trying to edit an .awc file? I assume the sounds got muted for you because .awc exceeded it's size limit after editing (i.e. weapons.awc size is 19,010KBs, if file is larger than that, sounds will get muted). The solution is to reduce file size, compress some sounds.

Hello. I've downloaded your gta v gun sounds mod and it's awesome. But i didnt like the sound some silenced weapons make, and the explosion sound is too loud. So i would like to know if theres a way for me to edit the mod to remove the silenced sounds and explosion sounds (put back the vanilla sounds)

how do i remove flash after firing? i hate when every single time i shoot i get a flashbang.

I am very grateful to the author for creating this mod version.
But some sounds are too loud, hope you will update them soon.
