@CruelMasterMC @Dimitri_Rascalov The thing I mentioned wasn't on a FiveM server, more like a modified FiveM:SP that let you go into Online. You weren't connected to Rockstar's servers and you couldn't play with anyone.
@CruelMasterMC Very cool mod man. I can't wait to see how this develops.
I'd reach out to some of the FiveM guys. Some of those guys have worked on scripts to recreate certain things from GTA Online, like the character creator in their servers.
I hope that you do implement a character creator, and perhaps make it so we can load this mod up by pulling up the character wheel. I'd just make it a button press. Then it'd do the camera sky animation. I know several FiveM servers which have done the camera thing.
I hope at some point in the future, we can use the real GTA Online scripts, and get the game hooked up to a emulated backend ROS server. This was done in a private mod forked from FiveM. Your character save data is saved locally and you can't get banned because you're on a fake account, and completely disconnected from the real GTA Online. Then from that, all the heists and such which require multiple players could be recreated from scratch.
This looks interesting.
We could have a more advanced vehicle modification system for performance parts with this, rather than the dumbed down one GTA has. You could do a whole bunch of engine mods like in Forza, as well as tuning.
@cp702 I know. The illusion only works since they're windowless for the vehicle interiors.
If the yacht one could be spawned dynamically via memory editing, it'd mean that we could make those yachts drivable, and still have a MLO interior. Interior wouldn't move, and the yacht exterior would need to be static when you're inside.
@SkylineGTRFreak Looks pretty neat.
As for interiors, it's a shame that there isn't a way you can spawn an MLO instance dynamically. It'd be a cool way to make the yachts be drivable, and when you enter it with a script, it'll spawn the interior at the position/orientation of the yacht. But if the submarine from the Doomsday Heist were made drivable, I'd make a script for it so you can enter the interior at the hatch, walk to the bridge, and enter a marker to drive it. It'd sorta mimic the Terabyte, MOC, and Avenger in GTA Online.
@BTTF V Team Very neat. Also, I think GTA V has natives you can use to override cars in the cargens. Might be able to use all the drip feed cars from GTA Online to make the cargens era appropriate.
@danistheman262 @HeySlickThatsMe Nice work!
Any chance that you guys might make the Arcade and casino functional in the future?
I wonder if there is a way to make the character use a passenger animation when the engine is off. Something I thought of for a mod which would add autopilot to the Coil Raiden.
@ikt Glad to see this get updated.
Also, it's resurrection gives me another idea. Mafia 1 style exit/entry.
-When entering a vehicle, your character won't start the car, till you press the accelerator.
-When exiting a vehicle, press exit once to turn off the engine, press it again to exit, or press accelerator to start the engine back up.
-It'd be cool if there was an option for each mod to keep the same effect for aircraft.
-Not sure if this one was in Mafia 1, but holding the button makes your character exit without turning off the engine.
@BigShaqNOKetchup Love the house man. I'm happy to see a large modern luxury mansion which isn't a map editor, or a ymap, but rather a proper MLO. You've done an amazing job.
I do have some recommendations for later builds.
1. Make the Mc Donald's be a Burger Shot or Up and Atom. Something which is lore friendly. Though I'd make the Mc Donald's you have now be a optional, sorta like the red version of the house.
2. It'd be cool if there was a dock.
3. Any chance the house could be moved back? It looks like it'd fit if it were to be moved north, where the road is that goes off the highway. This would blend the house in with the other houses, and it won't block the beach. You'd likely need to change up the driveway for it to fit, but Smallo's map tools should help it be easy as far as all the placements go. This may resolve the issues you're facing with water quads preventing the pool from working.
