The forums probably mention this, I don't recall the exact fix. The gist is that you need to add or remove some lines in the content.xml in the rpf.
Not really, there's just way too much in this to pull apart.
Recent game versions broke this. It works last on game build 2372.
Custom Gear Ratios does that.
That's in a vehicles' settings in handling.meta.
The higher the number, the more the wheels have less traction when stopped/slow. Combining InversePower and a high fLowSpeedTractionLossMult results in excessive sliding once you're sliding near 90 degrees.
Yeah I dunno at this point.
afaik you cannot remap the pause/escape keys. Otherwise try that.
Yes, when a custom camera replaces the native FPV camera, the game revers to third person animations. I don't think there is anything I can realistically do about it.
I think there is a misunderstanding: the script does simply not do anything with animations. Manual Transmission does that. When this script is active, it does not force normal first person animations, it just moves the camera. If you want other animations, e.g. vanilla first person camera, you can use Manual Transmission, but redefine the animation library used for it.
No, this script just changes the camera. Manual Transmission forces different steering animations.
Good suggestion, but it takes too much effort to implement DirectInput in this script too, to support VJoy axis inputs.
For gamepad look - it should be direct. It only tries to smoothly transition to where you want to look at. Try setting Controller smoothing in the Sensitivity options to 0.
That's not part of this script. Use Manual Transmission if you want that.
