There’s nothing to fix since there’s no issue: NVE is perfectly compatible with OpenRPF, but its author preferred to make his own solution (onigiri) instead of using OpenRPF. You can work around it on your side by creating your own dlc.rpf.
OpenRPF is compatible with NVE @dragon_Pyli @JasonM @Max91708
I don’t think this has anything to do with OpenRPF @GJ1996, but I’d still like the name of the MLO so I can check on my end
It's compatible with all previous, current and future versions of Enhanced @dragon_Pyli
The problem was caused by dsound.dll @Wolfenk, it’s been removed in 0.2. Just use the xinput1_4.dll provided by ScriptHookV instead.
@JAM102970 You can use OpenIV.asi while you edit your files in OpenIV if you wish, but remember to delete it before launching the game. More generally, I recommend using CodeWalker instead.
Two points, particularly regarding the new version of ScriptHookV:
• The dsound.dll included with OpenRPF is not the version from Ultimate ASI Loader, but a custom version specifically designed for GTA V, created to inject the ASIs at the correct time, not "as soon as possible" like UAL does. Therefore, use the version provided with OpenRPF to avoid unnecessary crashes.
• The ScriptHookV update introduces a different ASILoader using xinput1_4.dll: this appears to work without issues with OpenRPF.asi. Feel free to use the one of your choice (there’s no need to use both). However, in case of a crash, try using dsound.dll instead of xinput1_4.dll. If the issue persists, don’t hesitate to send a message here.
@tr_18_08 No, you just need OpenRPF.asi and dsound.dll.
@secu2 We have already answered all these questions several times, I invite you to read the comments. This is a false positive.
@xxx78 If your game is up to date you can continue to use No_GTAVLauncher, otherwise I don't have a soluton for you unfortunately.
@UniqueNhame Yes it is obviously a false positive, we have given the reason above in the comments.
