@AzteKiLLa Thanks for that link earlier. That is forever going in my bookmarks for future updates just in case I forget to do a backup again XD.
For all the noobs: if you really can't take waiting for the newest version of scripthookv, reverting to the old update.rpf, gta5.exe, and gtavlauncher always works like a charm guys. All you noobs need to get familiar with your GtaV game files. It's not Blade's fault that you don't know what you are doing and you didn't backup your last working game. This happens to nearly every game after an update. I was mad at myself when I realized my last backup was from before the last update. AzteKiLLa posted this very helpful link for all you that didn't do a backup.

You may also need the GTAVLauncher.exe from the previous version. You can find that by looking through the comments here. Someone posted a Megasync yesterday where you could download it.

I took everything out of my game folder that was recently updated and put it in a new folder on my desktop for later when Scripthook gets an update. You can easily see which files where updated by the Date things where modified. Everything that has 10/4/2016 is an updated file. Just take everything from the zip file you download from that site and copy it where it needs to go. You don't need to run the GtaVLauncher setup file if you have the older GTAVLauncher.exe

Files that this new update messed with:
    GTA5.exe
    GTAVLauncher.exe
    C:/steam/Steamapps/common/Grand Theft Auto V/update/update.rpf
C:/steam/Steamapps/common/Grand Theft Auto V/update/x64/dlcpacks/mpbiker and patchday12ng folders where added (I took those out just so I know they won't cause problems).

Make sure Steam is in offline mode so it doesn't do another auto backup (it shouldn't at this point though unless you verify the integrity of your GTAV files through steam, but better safe than sorry)

@_CP_ I think I figured out whats causing the crazy noise jagglies in the distance...the shadows look wierd at far distances ...I've tried to find the setting I need to fix it...the ones in GtaV's settings don't really do anything, even in the advanced graphics....FXAA and higher antialiasing doesn't do much either and at higher levels it cuts my frame rates baaaad...was looking at a shadow of a power line and noticed that at about 20ft (in game measurements), the shadows abruptly go from sharp to a horrid blurry, clipping, jaggly mess...it's not your mod either, it's in the vanilla also. Any idea how to smooth the transition from sharp shadows to, out of focus, farther shadows and how to make the shadows in the distance smoother? When looking down a street far in the distance, I can tell that it is the shadows causing this type of look all over: VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV.....I would much rather increase the out of focus blur in the distance than to see the shadows doing this all the time lol. Thanks for any help you could give

For all those interested in how to use the mods folder in OpenIV read this:
    http://openiv.com/?p=1132

It's not super easy, but is not that difficult either, if you follow the instructions. @N8Gamez Maybe you can build the dropzone loader of the mods folder that OpenIV already has. The only thing their mods folder needs is some way to get individual mods working from individual folders. At the moment the mods folder acts as a virtual Gta V root folder. You copy the original update.rpf, x64*.rpf, or any other archive into the mods folder, then drop and replace the modded files into the originals. basically needing the entire archive being modded with just one file. I tinkered around with it and figured out how to make my own tv channels by creating my own .bik files with Bink converter. I copied the x64d.rpf to the mods folder then found the movies folder....right clicked then selected replace....then selected my home movies I had converted to .bik files. The mod worked and Shame or Fame is now my own video. I just say all this to give an example of it. If you guys could narrow your mod down to jusst the files you edited it would be waaaaay easier to download and there would be no need to replace the original files. JUst simply drag and drop the common and x64 directories that contain just your files into the copied original x64 archives in the mods folder and it's done....without you guys needing to upload the entire x64*.rpf files or patchdays. I hope this helps in someway.

@N8Gamez Thanks for you reply. Still trying to figure out the process of modding this game. I've already had to use my original backup files a lot lol. Nothing like trial and error to learn what's what. Thank you for all your hard work at optimizing the game files. I will download the update when you guys post it and try again :-) gave you some stars just because I can tell you care and are doing your best.

@_CP_ Your mod looks great and didn't reduce my fps! Buuuut, I'm getting a lot of sawtooth noise and its irritating me bad. I was hoping your mod would help with it but it didn't. Is it and enb problem? How would I get rid of it without conflicting with your mod? Thanks for any help you're able to give.
