@Mizzy999 Thank you for your love and support :)
@EzX_GTA Ofcccc!
Best hunger mod I've got to use so far. My FPS seems to be just fine . I'm assuming you already have updates in mind but I'll leave my suggestions here (sorry if they were mentioned already) and some may sound like i'm getting ahead of myself lol
-Ability to use in Add-On MLOs/Interiors
-Ability to adjust the placement of the Stats menu.
-Ability to adjust how long it takes per stat to decrease
-Ability to create custom coordinates for food and bag stores(for add-on interiors)
-Ability to use custom bags.
-Ability to use trunk of current vehicle as space(if that makes sense)
Again great mod. Looking forward to any and all updates you got planned!
@MarcusStone I had planned to add the ability to support all add-on MLOs, however you must have a nearby shopkeeper to make purchases. However, I will look into it.
As for the hud placement adjustment feature, it has been added and will be released in the upcoming update.
The stats decrease cannot be adjusted by players, but the story mode compatibility checkbox reduces the time required for stats to decrease. However, a feature for players to adjust the stats decrease can be added to the main menu, and yes, custom bags will be added as a feature in future updates. As for the ability to stash/store food inside a vehicle, it is on my bucket list, and it will be included in future updates.
I am glad that you enjoyed the mod, and thank you for your feedback :)
Could you release a manual installation version of the enhanced version?
@ZaneL8ilence Currently, the mod does not support enhanced version. However, I will attempt to port it for enhanced version in the future updates
@EzX_GTA THX!
Real nice mod u got there, the only issue is fps drops so low when i installed it, it takes like 20-30 fps of my gameplay, any help or suggestion? I really like it btw
@Hyunru There is a bug affecting FPS, and it will be fixed in the next update
hey.. i was wondering why my money at 0? its live a different account or i have to do a particular job to buy stuff ? im not sure how to make it work also can you help me please ?
@shade478 Did you switch your character to a different one, other than the protagonist? Whenever a character does not have any money, the money hud element displays $0. This mod has nothing to do with money. It simply displays the character's real-time money count on the money hud element, there are no jobs in this mod, it is a simple core system that provides players with the ability to control hunger, thirst, and energy during gameplay.
I can assist you with any further questions you may have :)
Hello!
I am writing to express my admiration for your work so that you can understand perfectly. Your mod is incredibly well-made. I assume you have experience in programming, as the quality is exceptional.
I am a huge fan of mods and have tested every “Basic Needs” mod available on 5mods. Because of this experience, I would like to share some suggestions on how you can improve your mod to make it absolutely perfect. I have never found a Basic Needs mod that combines all these functions seamlessly; something is always missing.
Here are my suggestions:
1. Remove phone integration and improve hide/show blip buttons. Please consider removing the functions that use the in-game phone. In my experience, mods that add features to the phone often leave empty slots in the contact list, which looks glitchy and breaks immersion. Instead, could you add a function to hide/show blips via the main menu or a hotkey (SHIFT + N)? This option is fundamental because, without it, the game's original blips disappear and glitch out. This happens because the game itself has a limit on the number of blips that can be added to the map.
2. Add a “Fun” System. It would be great to add a “Fun” need. To satisfy this need, the player could participate in native game activities like golf, tennis, yoga, the amusement park, clubs, skydiving, etc.
3. Add interaction markers in front of ALL restaurants, diners, and fast food establishments. To satisfy the hunger need, the player would simply walk up to the marker and press (E).
Note on Markers: Since there are hundreds of food spots, you don't need to add map blips for them. This would clutter the map and create a mess. Since interaction markers would be everywhere, map blips aren't needed to find them.
Note on Schedules: GTA V has a system where some places close at specific times (like the beach establishments). So, to avoid breaking immersion, the interaction markers for some food spots need to work only when the establishment is actually open.
4. Eating at Home: Add the possibility to satisfy hunger by pressing (E) at stoves and refrigerators inside the player's safehouses.
5. Fruit Stands Add the ability to buy/eat products at the various fruit stands scattered around the map.
6. Hotel/Motel System: Add the possibility to satisfy the “Sleep” need at ALL hotels and motels in the city. The player must go to a marker, press (E), and time passes while sleep is recovered.
Thank you for your work! I hope you consider these ideas.
@EzX_GTA i am playing LSPDFR, micheal as a character (Player 0), and when i download the script yess it display $0 maybe its something with LSPDFR ?
@shade478 Maybe it is the LSPDFR mod, does LSPDFR use the default game money system or does it use its own? (I have not tried LSPDFR)
@RodaGames 1. You may be able to skip or reduce the empty slots. There is an ifruitaddon2 config file but it has not been included in the creator's mod. I will look into it, and btw, you may be able to toggle the on-start blip startup, which will toggle the blips the next time you open your game or reload the script. In order to prevent the blips from stacking over when the user reloads the script now and then, I turned it off by default. Therefore, I provided a toggle contact button on the cellphone so that the blips can be toggled. I cannot do anything about the blips duplicating when the user reloads the scripts from time to time. However, if it was for the .ASI plugin, I could have implemented a more effective blip system. Sorry, I cannot remove the blip toggle via contact button or add the ability to toggle it through the main menu, but you can toggle the On-Start Blip Startup Checkbox :)
2. The Fun System would be too realistic, I am trying to maintain a balance between lore and realism
3. The restaurant system is still under development, and will be available in future updates (I have a number of features and bug fixes to add in my bucket list for the next update, so this will take some time).
4, 5, 6. The concept of eating at home is also on my bucket list, as well as fruit stands and hotel and motel systems
Thank you for taking the time to view the mod. I hope you enjoyed it :)
@EzX_GTA Thank you for your reply.
@EzX_GTA it uses the same money, maybe im doing something wrong. thank you for trying to help me through that seriously i would really like to use your mod
@EzX_GTA After testing couple thing, i figured out that LSPDFR what the mistake. is there anyway to make it work with it on the next updates ? thank you for your support
@shade478 I will try to make the mod compatible with LSPDFR in the next update and I am so glad you liked the mod :)
@EzX_GTA Hi I've been using your mod in enhanced and seems to be working fine. A feedback (or maybe clarification) I'm starting a new playthrough on enhanced and checking other scripts/mods and I use a timescale mod to make days longer. It kind of feels like the rates are too high, I suspect I could "slow" it down a little by increasing the stats numbers (which I've done and seems about right). Do the 2 sets of stats represent Max and Current? I know the 2nd set is current just from testing, but if the first set is Max, does it work that I can move it up from 100 to 500?
I think it works that way and if thats the case, Im using the circle UI and those don't deplete until they hit 100 or below. Im not sure if you could make it based on those first set of stats that way they can move at the same rate (I'll have to check the other UI option to see if it acts the same).
Otherwise works as advertised, since Im still early game, stores are still locked (unless thats a bug for enhanced) cannot WAIT to get a bag lol.
