Another little idea.
Description
This script allows the player to give a small boost to the car if they hit Shift when the car changes gear. Attempts to simulate good shifting.
If you guys like it I'll update with customizable keys and support for NPCs being able to do the same.
Installation
Place "UpGearTurbo" inside the "Grand Theft Auto V/scripts" folder. If you don't have that folder, create it.
REQUIREMENTS
.NET Framework 4.5.2

@Eddlm Hello, why from the beginning of the run game and I move a car is a good message changed gear is displayed in the upper left corner and then you're znikai message is no longer displayed?
That notification sound playing every shift is really annoying, it would be great if there's such option to turn it off. All in all great idea, waiting for updates :)
@EnvoMods No option needed, it dissappears after hinting you a few times and doesn't bother you anymore. @Remix

Is there any way you can do the exact same "boost" effect but before it shift, like real life turbo boost did. Lemme know, I think this can be a really good mod too :)
@Eddlm how about giving an option to automatically getting a boost on gear shifting... without pressing the shift key?
Really cool mod and concept, makes drag racing more skill based which I enjoy :)
Also, please add the ability to change the keys, I would like to be able to use nitrous as well haha.
@Eddlm in the next update, could u include an ini.file for configuring how much little boost will be apply and which key(also controller comparable) to press?

@Eddlm -- I really enjoy this. Minor, but totally worth having without getting in the way whatsoever. You're on a roll with these scripts, dude. So far, you're the only author I'm interested in specifically following.
I realize you're busy with bigger mods, but if you ever get around to it, add that INI and consider including a setting to customize the notification time so newcomers can get a little more practice before they're on their own ;P Meanwhile, I should probably check out a HUD speedometer...
