Search Dumpsters V(v.1.0 by Trevcio) allows you to interact with various trash containers and bins across the map.
---Features:
1. Multiple Container Types: Works with various dumpster models.
2. Reward System: Find random amounts of cash (up to 10 dollars) or find absolutely nothing.
3. Cooldown system: There is a cooldown system, you need to wait 5 min to search that same dumpster again.
---Issues:
None at the moment (if you found any type in comments!).
---How to use:
1. Approach any supported dumpster or bin.
2. Press "E" to start searching.
3. Wait for the animation to finish to see what you've found.
---Installation:
1. Create a folder named scripts in your GTA V main directory (if you don't have one).
2. Drop the SearchDumpsters.dll and SearchDumpsters.ini files into the scripts folder.

@Trevcio Friend, there are actually many things that are missing in GTA 5 for role playing. For example: Full interaction with the player's house, cooking, taking a shower. There are not enough simple small everyday things for the character to interact with the game world of GTA 5. You know, I belong to that category of players who play role playing as a female character. I don't like the fact that peds perceive my female character Franklin. I don't like the fact that Franklin's main nickname cannot be replaced with a female one. If you choose any ped, they don't have the ability to have money and so on. I think your mod is a good start for role playing. It will be cool if you can make a revolution in modding for role playing. You are cool! Respect
The mod is great, but you could update it. For example, could the trash can lid be opened and closed?
@My_ Dick_ Is_Big For 4 years, my friends and I played roleplay in GTA V Singleplayer, and during those 4 years, I had a lot of ideas for things I wanted to add or things that just didn't exist on GTA5-Mods. I think I know exactly what you mean because those kinds of features are really missing. In the future, I plan to release more scripts that will add small, everyday mechanics to the game, and I will be more than happy to listen to the community's ideas!
If I can help you out right now, I think if you swap Franklin to a female character using a model changer, you should still be able to have money, keep your weapons, and so on. As for the house interactions, I'm not 100% sure, but there are already mods that make it possible. I believe 'Enable All Interiors' has some functional features like that in the GTA Online apartments.

@gtav-fan I've actually been thinking about this, because a character clipping through a dumpster isn't very realistic, but unfortunately, I don't think there's a way around it. The only trash cans where it might be possible are the metal one with a lid or the small plastic one, but with the large dumpsters, I really doubt it can be done. If you have any other ideas, feel free to share them!

@Trevcio Friend, thank you for your feedback. It's cool when a character can rise from the bottom up in role play or something like that. To be honest, I've already played GTA 5 online. I had a lot of money and stuff. But GTA 5 online doesn't have the most important thing, which is role play. I thank Rockstar for GTA 5. But unfortunately there's no role play there. They'll never understand this. You modders are saving the gaming industry. Because without mods it would die. May your work be more respected. I wish you success and victories in your creativity.

This is such a cool mod, one of my new favourites! :-D
Could you please consider changing/adding a few things?
- Change: Character input completely disabled (they're frozen in place which is good, but I can still walk/run/jump during the dumpster search, which breaks immersion)
- Change: Temporarily making the player unarmed during the search, then re-arming them with whichever weapon they originally had (breaks immersion to be holding an RPG while searching)
- Addition: The ability to gift scraps/money to other homeless people, maybe in exchange for them being your bodyguard/helping you search dumpsters and splitting profits with you/just to be nice/some other perk
- Addition: Some gentle glass shard SFX when searching dumpsters (for a little variety -- the current SFX are a great addition already BTW!)
- Addition: INI boolean for enabling/disabling map blips

One other suggestion I have is that, if you disable all character input while searching, I think keeping the ability to use the special power would be helpful (I was playing as Trevor and being shot at by the police, and decided to search some dumpsters while wanted, and being able to enable his invincibility power during that time was incredibly helpful) -- SafeCracker ( https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/safecracker ) does this well, if the reference helps.
Also, a side note, could you please release the source code for this mod? I checked the archives but wasn't able to find it unfortunately. I'm not a programmer but I'm curious to take a look at how it operates, and maybe I can learn!

I just noticed a glitch: you can activate the script while on a bicycle (breaks immersion/accidental begin script process). I think adding an "is player on foot" check before showing the "Press E" prompt would be helpful.
