Description:
This mod allows online cars to spawn naturally in traffic accordingly to their nature (off-road cars spawn in the desert, expensive cars spawn in downtown, etc....).
Really, it is not actually a mod, it's just a small file edit, anyone can do it, it's just so tedious and boring to do.
GTA Online version 1.68 installed is highly recommended
Bugs and features:
After a cold start of the game, it can take a couple of seconds to see appearing the new cars, just drive around the block and they will show up in no time.
Also, if the player stays long enough in an area, the game will start to spawn a lot of the same vehicles again and again, my file doesn't edit anything else other than which cars spawn in which area. Rockstar stores those kind of parameters in files called "vehicles.meta" and "vehiclemodelsets.meta".
To alleviate this little problem, I recommend editing the file "settings.xml" found in "Documents > Rockstar Games > GTA V" and change the value of "VehicleVarietyMultiplier" from 1.0 to 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 or 1.5, note that changing this value will slightly increase the video memory usage of the game.
Installation :
ALWAYS BACKUP YOUR FILES BEFORE REPLACING. You'll need OpenIV, copy ""popgroups.ymt"" found in the archive to your ""Grand Theft Auto V > mods > update > update.rpf > x64 > levels > gta5"" directory, and replace the original file.

- The archive contains a file in which there is a list of the cars added and their category, the vehicles excluded are: all vehicles with unrealistic and over the top abilities, all movie based cars and the 4 vehicles owned by the protagonists.
- If the cars despawn when you get close to them, download sjaak327 Simple Trainer and the problem should disappear.

@rhcnxfj13 Hi there, I didn't touch police cars yet as they aren't that many cars available (every police car in the game already spawns except maybe for the unmarked one)

ah man i want to install this but i feel like itll ruin some police mods that use the popgroups file. I will try anyway
this mod broke my game, gotta reinstall because of this. please include a vanilla version of popgroups, not really practical to backup such a small file and have it on ur pc when it could've been included in the install of this. cool mod nonetheless.
@jewsluvcoins At first I misread the conditions to upload a file on this website, the condition said : interdiction of uploading ONLY original files of the game, somehow I didn't notice the "only" part, and thought I couldn't upload a backup file.
However, in my description, I specifically said you should backup your file before replacing, furthermore, the path that I gave for installing this was "MODS" > update > ..... So you could have easily restored your original file from the game directory.
So please learn how to use basic modding abilities and basic programs before whining.

It's not perfect Michael and Franklin's cars should spawn in traffic too its unrealistic that only Franklin and Michael drive a Bravado Buffalo S and an Obey Tailgater in all of Los Santos, also bikes should spawn more too but not all bikes one of the bikes I always see spawning the Nagasaki Chimera does not belong in normal traffic, also I hope you add police cars to spawn in the next update too and all type of police vehicles even the undercover cop cars.
Hey does this work for any custom maps that don't have traffic nodes?
@Starfox1993 I haven't tried it, can't tell, but if there is no traffic or traffic with the standard cars, there will be no dlcs car either.

is this like sparky's where you see the same car like 6 times in in the same lane or sum or at one parking spot? cuz if thats so i really wonder what in gta is causing it, i might then try to fix it
