Welcome to New Death Sounds For Peds
The default death screams in GTA V are fine, but I felt they could be more realistic. This mod aims to replace the death screams, falling screams, and burning screams with new, more realistic ones. Some of these sounds have been sourced directly from other games, including Red Dead Redemption 2, Mortal Kombat, Ready Or Not, Battlefield, and more.
1. Use OpenIV to open your GTA V root folder.
2. Navigate to mods/x64/audio/sfx/PAIN.RPF.
Inside this folder, drag and drop the .oac files. [Extract the RAR file if you can't drag them]
(Make sure to have "Edit Mode" enabled and always work within the "Mods" folder otherwise, it could break your GTA V installation.)
3. Now, do the same for S-MISC.RPF. Enter the folder and drag the .oac files into:
mods/x64/audio/sfx/S-MISC.RPF
Sadly i don't think it works with FiveM, cuz i tried everything but it just doesn't work.
If you have the doubt that this mod works in GTA V Enhanced, the answer is yes, the only thing that happens is that to make it work I directly drag the PAIN.RPF after replacing it to the same path of the file, from Legacy to Enhanced. (or just use CodeWalker)

when im in "PAIN.rpf" (in my game directory, not the mod file) all the files show as ".awc", so when i drag the ".oac" files from the mod file it gives me a openFormats import report saying that a bunch of .wav files werent found, and dragging them in doesnt work. please help i love this mod
could the solution be to convert the .oac files to .awc?
This is awesome, use fire bullets to test the screaming.

@D4v1d_ I'm really sorry for the late reply. First, try extracting the mod folder to your desktop, and then copy it into the game from there.
whats the particle mod were you using? like the blood and the weapon firing
@0Axes Weapon fire is just from GTA V Enhanced's effects, the blood mod is called Blood & Gore [Legacy | Enhanced]
how do you install for enhanced? I still don't hear the modded audio
@esschrieck The mod for Enhanced is installed the same way as for Legacy, although you'll need to use CodeWalker or something similar.
I installed it but I rarely ever hear the modded screams it is mostly just vanilla
@esschrieck That's not supposed to happen. Did you just install the “waveload_pain_male.oac” and “waveload_pain_female.oac” files? Maybe you're missing something.
