I don't think this author is active anymore. This mod doesn't keep the cars after a logout. He doesn't respond either. I've tried the other persistence mods as well with same or worse issues.
I did another install on the MapBuilder and it's showing up now. Maybe I overlooked that when I was adding everything else after taking out the other mods. Thanks @Rastamon51 because you mentioned that and a possible reinstall or a "I forgot to" reinstall worked. This mod is dope @Smitten.
I removed all my mods except for cars, replaced my mods folder's update and x64 with vanilla, loaded up my backup dlclist, etc and for some reason I still have no floor from the top of the stairs to the door. I might do I clean wipe and go from there
It's last update was May 4 2015. The author last commented in 2015. It is most likely no longer compatible with the newer version of GTAV. Common sense prevails.
I don't think this works properly with the current version of GTAV. I get blips, it says "vehicle xxx saved" but if I leave the area and come back it's gone. If I save and play again, the car is no longer there.
I don't have a floor/balcony at the top of the stairs to the door... Anyone had this issue before? I've dropped the xml into AutoloadMaps folder (I've also cleared the objects and loaded it through Mapeditor), I have the required files. I'm wondering if it's conflicting with the Open All Interiors, Business Mega Pack, or Safehouse Reloaded. I pull them out and go from there, but if anyone had this issue initially let me know please, and I'll update here shortly.
@Nagato Mercedes When I ran into this issue it was my gameconfig file. I downloaded https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars and had to select one of the options other than "Stock Traffic" and that worked for me.
I was having an issue with it showing up as well, at first. I would see the cars, and after I'd get close, they would just fall into the water. Then I realized I never put the rmp_chicago folder into my dlcpacks folder. My only issue(s) now is that it's tiny and not high quality, no access to it except flying or using mapeditor. Also, around the city are a bunch of drop offs into the water and unrendered landscape trash around the outskirts of the city that doesn't blend in with anything. It's not a smooth transition into the water or attached to the mainland making that area look hideous.
