I'd rather consider that space for parking an extra vehicle there like a blacked out SUV would look good in that place so :D
@Nachtfliege Would be 10/10 in terms of design if the vent + DRL below the headlight was placed a little below. I edited it myself in photoshop to show how it'll look. below are the two images along with the edited ones side by side for comparison :-
