Uhm never mind lol. It appears it was the Lingon trainer who removed waypoints when you activate unlimited healt (wtf?!)
This modification works well as it removes the fog. HOWEVER, it also makes the race-checkpoints INVISIBLE on-screen (they still show on radar though) - just so you know when this problem comes to you.
