A wise man used to say "Double the gun, Double the fun". That's why Dual Wield mod by Jedijosh is all we need, sadly it's outdated. I've decided to redo the script and make it slightly prettier with a few new features.

Requirement:
ScriptHookVDotNet3, Use only the Nightly Version. Regular 3.6.0 is not supported.
This script was made on game version 3179, other versions are untested.
How to Install:
Inside the rar there are 2 things: DualWield.dll, DualWield.ini
Put all of them into the "/scripts" folder, the usual for script mods, located in gta main folder
After installation, In-game you can activate Dual Wield with X. You can change the key, turn off FakeRecoil or the new AimingAnims in the .ini config on that "/scripts" folder

Features:
- Ammo is now independent, it takes the original ammo and doubles it. It has its own ammo counter (top-right corner)
- No more crashes (e.g entering vehicle used to crash the mod)
- More damage, now it adds player's damage. It used to utilize NPC damage only
- Now, reloading will be done twice (one weapon at a time) and weapons are less accurate.
- Fire rate is the same, cause it's the same gun only it holds and spits more bullets
- Changing weapons while dual-wielding with no crashes
- Heavy guns, and explosives cannot be dual-wielded, it doesn't make sense dual-wielding a mother-effing minigun
- Attachments on the firearm will be carried over to the dual-wielded one
- Controller(gamepad) supported, Aim and hold Phone Right (DPad right on default) for 1 sec
- Improved animations from the original one, without using custom anims
- Compatible with addon weapons and addon weapon components mods
- Can be used in pair with Shootdodge: The Sequel

Bugs:
- First Person View may look weird when dual-wielding
- Aiming from one object to the other with a big distance gap (e.g close target vs the sky) makes hands a little bit jumpy
- Please reload in safe place, whenever you reload the character will stop
- Animations may look weird, all anims is from the game no custom anims. I'm not a full-time modder/programmer, just a hobbyist. I won't respond requests or complains about animations, cry to someone else.

It's me Dokek, uploaded 1.3.6 which change the gamepad on-off button to what @ElectroNukeSam suggested, albeit I haven't tested the flashlight myself but the button works like that now, by holding for 1 sec. Just want to let you know in case you are wondering if this is another hacking incident again 👍
@GeoMan sorry gta v dont have animation included that mimic the dual-wield driveby, and why would you even want to dual wield when drive-by, how the driver even hold the steering wheel
GTA V is updated to 3323.0, if you still want to use mods, please consider to revert back to older version. Got confirmation that the update included BattleEye anti-cheat that will pose difficulty on ScriptHookV. I won't respond to any errors that correlates with user mistake on using mods on the new version of the game.

Following you for quite a while now, keep up the good work with your mods. However, I do have another mod suggestion that might interest you, the Lowrider Challenge by Guadmaz (https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/lowrider-challenge#description_tab ). If you're interested, please look forward into bringing this back whenver you get time and are comfortable enough, some people have really been asking the original author for this one to be updated, but they have since then probably left modding and the mod felt like as if it was just ignored without any sign or chance of it ever being looked upon or updated.
I don't know if its intended, but addon weapons, at least the bunch I have installed, do appear to work, at least somewhat. Sometimes the gun is doubled perfectly fine, minus their attachments missing usually, and fire. Sometimes they do cause some kind of error, but if I reload the script and try again, they usually work. I've discovered this mostly on accident with either pressing right on the D-pad while aiming, or pressing X when adding attachments to said addon weapons. Only two weapons I can vividly recall the script sometimes crashing with are the Israeli Rifle, which works more often than not actually but does sometimes crash, and the new Professional SMG crashes every time no matter what. Just thought I'd mention that if anyone's curious. Amazing mod and very fun to mess around with for certain.
@Indoraptor Yeah thanks for bringing it up to attention. I already noticed it recently while im developing addon weapons update for my Weapons On Back. It crashed on my Vom Feuer Stealth Carbine. I'll try to find the solution but it won't be my priority right now since WOB will come first for now, sorry!
@Indoraptor Ok nvm, took a quick look, and found the fix hopefully also work with other weapons. I also transferred the new function from Weapons on Back to recognize addon weapon components (e.g scope, mags, etc). 1.3.0 will be uploaded

If you people downloaded this file, please don't install it or run it, THAT'S NOT my file since the size just jumped from 10kb to hundreds. I'm very sorry for people who already ran the game. I will submit to the site rules if I'm found guilty, but god knows that's not me, im not a professional programmer who can code malicious virus to infect people, im not that good, you can check my github that my coding is sloppy, i'm recreating jedijosh mods because it's easier than starting from the scratch
I'm sorry for the hacking tragedy, but just checked my file i found that i made mistake on the 1.3.0, i will upload fix to address the Weapon Components not working correctly. Stay safe, and always remember to check download size, script mods rarely grows in size unless there's big update, always check my changelog, and if you notice something odd, please tag me here
For 50-ish people who accidentally downloaded the hacked zip (the fake 1.3.1) on 3rd/4th October 2024 (depends on ur time zone) please run full scan antivirus and delete the umpdc.dll from your gta v folder, or better yet just reinstall gta 5
So as of right now, this file and weapons on back are safe to use, right?
@Indoraptor Yep! It's safe now. You can compare the 1.3.5 with older version and you'll find no additional dll file aside from the DualWield.dlll, and the dll size is not that different since it's only bugfix, it's like editing one line of code. The fake 1.3.1, that the hacker planted got a new umpdc.dll that is loaded not from "scripts" folder but from the GTA V main folder. As for WOB it's safe to use as the hacker only replaced this mod, maybe because it's on the Featured Mods, so that they can get a lot of traffic.
This is a dream come true, but may I suggest switching the controller binding to d-pad hold (about a second, for instance)? That would make it so the flashlight attachments are still usable.
@ElectroNukeSam Dang! didn't think of it before, i played mostly on keyboard. So, right d-pad is for weapon attachment activation (e.g flashlight)?
