First off i'd like to thank toitoine66 for giving me the idea/inspiring me to make this. (yes i know both look very similar but i just wanted to make my own.)
This is a retexture of Lundy's Retro California Highway Patrol Officers to make them look like 1960's Chicago Police.
If you got any problems with the color/patches anything leave it in the comments (tag me) and i'll fix it if i think it should be done.

Installation
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You need to download Retro California Highway Patrol Officers.
Open the archive and extract:
s_m_y_hwaycop_01.ymt
s_m_y_hwaycop_01.yft
s_m_y_hwaycop_01.ydd
Now rename those to:
s_m_y_swat_01.ymt
s_m_y_swat_01.yft
s_m_y_swat_01.ydd
Then drag the files you've renamed into here:
mods\x64e.rpf\models\cdimages\componentpeds_s_m_y.rpf
Now extract the s_m_y_swat_01.ytd that is in this mods archive and dump it in the same place:
mods\x64e.rpf\models\cdimages\componentpeds_s_m_y.rpf
To install the Hat you need to extract:
s_m_y_hwaycop_01_p.ydd
s_m_y_hwaycop_01_p.ytd
From the highway patrol archive.
Rename those to:
s_m_y_swat_01_p.ytd
s_m_y_swat_01_p.ydd
Now drop those here:
mods\x64e.rpf\models\cdimages\pedprops.rpf\

@420x420 Ahh Chicago, the most strict gun control laws and the highest violent crime rates of any other city in the nation. After over 20 years of making sure that only criminals can obtain firearms you would think that Chicago would have learned from its mistakes but no, they obvious like the situation they've put themselves in. Sorry if I'm ranting but seeing that old sign that welcomes democrats to Chicago kind of triggered me :) I think its hilarious how Chicago and Detroit haven't had a republican mayor since the 1960's and ironically they are the two nastiest cities in America. Go figure lol

wow, this is really useful for retro lspdfr! For using the normal police hat, the easiest way to do it would be to use the configuration from the retro Highway Patrol ped, which uses the lspd hat, and swap the original textures onto it.

In the 10th screenshot the cop on the left was going to hit the camera
So we both have the same chicago police riot uniform from the 60's now :( You know it took 3 days to find the right models ( the helmet was very difficult to find without the cap being attached). Well i don't want to be this guy, but next time try to do something more different^^ Aside from all of that your texture is very good.

@toitoine66 Yes i know man i just wanted to make my own! i asked in the comments of your mod if you wanted to work together on the textures and i could pump out some good ones for it but you never acknowleged it so i just went ahead and did this and i didn't use any of your textures they arwe purely lundy's textures editied i also did not include the helmet I piut in the description if they wanted it they need to download your mod @TheLoneWolf293 Why would he be pissed if i got inspiration from him and made the textures better? Its not like i took his textures altered them a tiny bit and reuploaded. i asked if he wanted me to work with him o his mod and i would do some textures but he never acknowledge that so i just made my own and uploaded it.
@wapster Alright i'll see what i can do with the hat will look a bit odd because of the medal on it but i''ll try to make it look like the chicago pd hat! @Lozano71 Thank you man! @christ Why its very simple to instal oiv would just be a pain for a simple ped replacement and plus going through the files is good for you so you know how to change them back if you don't like them.
